coding from design perspective / ready fun website in 7 weeks
Wednesday 17h to 19.30h CET / Saturday 11h to 13.30h CET
CODING IS SCARY! Especially if you are a "visual person".
This is exactly why we have built this course: to help design-minds get into the realms of coding. We believe coding is a liberating knowledge: you can freelance, make websites for your cousins, understand dev teams and also create pieces of art with it. The family-like setup will help you doubt freely & ask questions. You can and should bring examples of what you like and learn how to make it - always with your instructors. What else?
⬀ Obviously, you will build your first website using HTML, CSS and Javascript using your own design.
⬀ Create and add cool animations & transitions to give your websites a juicy touch. You can bring what you like in class and we will deconstruct your example.
⬀ How to create responsive designs for any screen type.
⬀ Best practices for accessibility, to make your projects inclusive and for everyone.
⬀ Use this foundation knowledge to keep learning new frameworks and JavaScript libraries.
*Carrer focus*: How code and design in the future, freelance or work with developers.
